About the Role


The CTS Tax Administration team focuses on tax return compliance for a variety of tax entities. This work includes reviewing initial deal documents to gain a full understanding of the tax structure, analyzing financial results, projecting cash flows, filing annual Form 1066 and quarterly investor reporting. The deals are backed by three major types of collateral; re-REMICS, non-agency and agency. The Tax team reviews and processes the transfers of residual ownership of Tax Liability on a quarterly basis. These entities qualify as a pass-through entity for tax purposes as long as the REMIC rules and regulations as described in the 1986 Tax Reform Act.


Responsibilities


Duties may include: analyzing and reviewing financial statements; tracing and investigating transactions to resolve questionable data and applying corrective actions when necessary; preparing various reports using online systems; preparing account reconciliation and certification; reviewing taxes. Assists and provides guidance to junior level Operations team members and specialists with resolving simple to medium complex problems. May have direct/indirect responsibility for supporting, advising, and resolving disputes for customers, clients /vendors. May have indirect/direct interaction with internal and external clients.

  • Should be willing to learn and comprehend US Taxation terminologies.
  • Should apply this taxation knowledge in day-to-day activities.
  • Should possess analytical skills
  • Multi Task and ability to deliver tasks effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Eye for detail and ensure daily processing is done with utmost efficiency and best standards
  • Good Math and accounting skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining acceptable standards of workmanship
  • Quick learner with the ability to retain high volume of information
  • Identify scope of improvement and convert them to projects is a plus
  • Understand risk and suggest controls in BAU
  • Adherence to timelines
  • Proactive approach on handling volume allocation and task completion

Own Retail

 

  • Ensure compliance to established HR policies and procedures in stores
  • Create a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, analyzing performance and giving appropriate and prompt feedback.
  • To monitor campaign execution and priorities their sellout.
  • Focus on inventory management and weekly monitor Key article performance – Top Sellers.
  • Follow SOP’s for store global counts and audits
  • Review the store teams weekly and evaluate and drive the top line of the store.
  • To Monitor the store level P&L & evaluate the performance and increase the profitability.

 

 

Franchise Stores

 

  • To visit Franchise stores and to ensure Net Sales productivity, Retail KPIs, Visual Merchandising, Stock Management, Store upkeep & Staff Performance.
  • To Drive the brand SOP’s and executing it on the sales floor.
  • Managing staff motivation, incentive plans, product trainings.
  • Work closely with the Partner and Partners team to implement best practices
