About the Role
We're looking for an HR Generalist based out of India to support our employee population in India/APAC countries - someone who is passionate about finding ways to best support our growing Uber family. The HR Generalist is primarily responsible for supporting employees and managers with inquiries and implementing global and local HR processes and programs within their region or function. You will partner with HRBP(S) on various stages of the employee life cycle from talent management, performance management, Onboarding/Offboarding and business driven initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Provide support to employees and leaders in the business: coaching on performance management, policies, and other HR-related topics/processes
- Analyze data from various daily activities and projects to identify patterns and trends that can help create/ improve processes or identify areas of concern
- Partner with your cross functional teams on larger projects and org changes
- Identify and execute on continuous improvement of HR programs and processes to enhance the overall employee and manager experience
- Provide support to the various functional areas during the performance review lifecycle by contributing to the talent reviews, talent assessment, and follow-ups
- Own and strengthen key partnerships on behalf of the team (with other People COEs: Benefits, ER, People Operations, People Systems, Analytics, HRBPs)
- Facilitate the adoption and improvement of HR programs, policies, and processes to enhance our overall employee and manager experience
Complete processes and project work to maintain compliance in your region or function
What you'll need:
- 4+ years of prior experience in HR Specialist/Generalist role
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals and processes
- Exposure of working on HR Projects and policies implementation
- Experience of partnering with HRBPs to deliver a consistent employee experience, help manage HR operations.
- Case documentation on the tool
- Manager coaching and guidance on HR policies and processes
- Ability to manage Performance management cycle and low-performance situations
- Support Exit process compliance
- Stakeholder management-Ability to partner within and outside of HR with multiple stakeholders and business leaders
